Re-Opening Update

Dear CT Family,

Over the past 8 weeks, the COVID 19 global pandemic has made the church (us) step up and step out of our traditional way of worship. In spite of challenging circumstances, God has done amazing things and we have been overcomers through Him. Our online church presence has consistently touched lives and we are so thankful for your support. Only in heaven will you realize your reward for your faithfulness to God during this season.

We are so excited about starting in person services again. Based on the recommendations of the Northern Missouri District of the Assemblies of God, the Missouri state government and the St. Charles County Health Department, and the CT Survey Results, CT is excited to announce we will begin the process of regathering the church body to meet in person. Please use your own discretion as we regather in person whether you are ready to attend in person church. As we move into the process of regathering in person, we will continue to offer our quality ONLINE service.

We will regather in person in phases and we will adhere to Missouri’s government guidelines. Phase one: Return; Phase two: Transition; Phase three: “New” Normal. Phase one focuses on the return to in person church. Phase two will focus on transition and implementation of CT classes, Children’s ministries, and Wednesday evening ministries. Phase three will include the return of the remainder of CT ministries.

Here is our schedule for Phase one:

Sunday  |  May 17

> CT Morning Service ONLINE at 10:15 AM
    Worship & the Word

> CT Worship Experience IN PERSON at 3 PM
    Worship & Prayer

Sunday  |  May 24

> CT Morning Service ONLINE at 10:15 AM
    Worship & the Word

> CT Memorial Day Remembrance Service IN PERSON at 3 PM

Sunday  |  May 31

> CT Reunion Worship Celebration IN PERSON at 10:15 AM
   Worship & the Word

> CT Morning Service ONLINE at 10:15 AM
    Worship & the Word

As we regather in person, we will be doing some things in ways we never considered before and we will continue some practices that we implemented on our last in person service March 15. Changes are not always easy, but with God’s help and our good attitudes we will be successful and safe.

  • Most importantly, we must be prayerful, kind, and considerate to all. Everyone has a different comfort level, none of which is right or wrong.

This is what Phase one looks like (government recommended):

  • Sanitizer Stations
  • Avoid handshakes / hugs (yes to smiles, waves, nods)
  • No Nursery
  • No Kids Church
  • No Midweek activities
  • No Coffee / refreshments
  • Tithing stations
  • Spaced seating (6ft apart between family groups)
  • Masks (optional)
  • Please stay home if you are sick (or if a family member is sick)
  • Intense cleaning of high touched areas (doors, restrooms, chairs, furniture, etc.)
  • No church trips / outings
  • Altered corporate prayer time
  • No water fountains
  • Social distancing (please maintain 6ft apart from others)
  • Lower Level and Upper Room closed off (Please use main level only)
  • Designated Entrance / Exit

We will continue to update you as the Phases change. We are hopeful that Phase two will begin in June and during that Phase we will transition to other important ministries including CT classes, children’s ministries and Wednesday evening services.

Thank you for your prayerful support as we navigate church life together. We love you and are excited to start Phase one together. – Pastor Scott + CT Board
